label: {blog}spiration , featureI’m a bit late in my holiday preparations, as usual. I just managed to lug out my big box of lights and decorations yesterday, and I was surprised at how beat up everything looked. I might have to take a cue from these first two Before & Afters and repurpose some stuff to create fresh new holiday decor.
Blair had an ingenious idea for what to do with the hand-stamped burlap runners from her wedding — turn them into stockings! I love the idea of burlap stockings, and the off-center monogram design is definitely a nice alternative to the standard printed names on the stocking cuff. It’s great that Blair can pull these out year after year and get some serious use from them, while also getting a little reminder of their original purpose :) Great work, Blair! — Kate
