i love lamp.

wade and i have a list of things that we want to purchase/make for our new apt. and a list of things that we really need. top of that list ... lighting for our bedroom - STAT!

so we've {i've} been obsessing about lamps this week.

obsessing.

all i can think about is the perfect lamp.

obsessing.

i close my eyes and all i see are lamps.

well ... yesterday i found it.
introducing the nest pendant from pottery barn:

pretty pretty pretty. (and wouldn't you know it ... no longer available. AUGH!)

{insert tear}

the more i thought about it ... the more i realized wade wasn't going to want to share a room with a bird lamp complete with delicate crystals.

so in consideration of him, i found another. introducing the mechanic's beacon light from anthropologie:

very industrious. very manly ... very expensive considering what you get.

so today ... i came up with a game plan to combine the two.
